CST Global at Cadence Photonics Summit

News

Andrew McKee, technical director, will present InP laser technology in San Jose, California

Andrew McKee, technical director at CST Global, has been invited to speak at the Cadence Design Systems Photonics Summit and Workshop, 2019, in San Jose, California, on the 13th and 14th November.

The summit brings industry and academic experts together to consider the many ways photonics is combining with RF and mmWave technologies to revolutionise the semiconductor industry.

“It is a privilege to be invited by Cadence to present at the 2019 Photonics Summit,” explained Andrew McKee. “CST joins an illustrious list of presenters from some of the world’s leading technology companies.

“CST Global and our parent company Sivers IMA use Cadence software and hardware for both compound semiconductor and silicon germanium chip design. Within the photonics industry, Cadence solutions are used throughout the entire electronics development cycle, from chip design to package, board, and system design. The software improves productivity; speeds up the design process; and enables shorter verification cycles.”

Andrew McKee’s presentation to the audience of design engineers and system architects from around the world, will focus on CST Global’s InP Laser Technology and how it complements silicon photonics.
