Filtronic appoints new Marketing Manager

News

Company strengthens commercial team with the appointment of Fin Farrelly

Filtronic, a company that develops RF devices including power-amplifiers, transceivers, and MMICs operating from DC to over 100 GHz, has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Fin Farrelly as marketing manager.

Following a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, a CIM postgraduate diploma and an MBA from Bradford University, Fin has worked in a number of marketing and business development roles for engineering and manufacturing companies, most recently for a company in the complex structural steel fabrication market that specialises in bridges for the highways and rail sectors.

Based at Filtronic’s facility in Sedgefield, UK, Fin will work closely with the sales team, establishing the marketing strategy that will drive the next stage of market development, and helping to strengthen the Filtronic brand through marketing communications and digital growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Fin to the Filtronic team,” said Walter Magiera, COO of Filtronic. “His strategic and tactical marketing skills, combined with his broad engineering-based experience, promise to be a great asset as we progress to the next phase of Filtronic’s growth in international markets.”
