Agilent and Tropian collaborate on multi-band, multi-mode 2.5G transmitter solutions
The platform, utilizing Agilent s highly efficient E-mode PHEMT power amplifier modules and Tropian s TimeStar Polar Impact modulator IC, can be viewed at the Tropian booth (Stand D-2, Hall 2) during the 3GSM World Congress 2002 in Cannes, France (February 19-22).
Tropian and Agilent have collaborated on providing a highly efficient and simplified transmitter solution for multi-band multi-mode handsets for GSM, EDGE and TDMA carriers. This platform can be used for handsets providing GSM, GPRS, EDGE, and TDMA modulation formats in the 850 and 1900 MHz bands for the Americas TDMA/GSM carriers, and the 900 and 1800 MHz bands for European and Asian carriers.
