AXT signs LED supply deal with Agilent
AXT has announced an annual supply agreement with Agilent Technologies manufacturing arm in Malaysia to help meet the latter company s InGaN LED requirements for cellular phone backlighting and other applications.
"After only two years in the InGaN LED business, AXT produces some of the brightest and most reliable blue, green and cyan LEDs in the industry," said Morris Young, AXT s president and CEO. "Agilent has chosen AXT to ensure a consistent supply of top quality LEDs for its growing business serving mobile phones and other applications."
