IntelliEPI moves to larger facility
IntelliEPI has moved into a new Texas headquarters with expanded capacity to meet increasing demand for InP and GaAs epitaxial wafers.
Intelligent Epitaxy Technology (IntelliEPI), a manufacturer of InP and GaAs epitaxial wafers, has moved into a newly constructed headquarters located in Richardson, Texas. The facility gives the company 23,000 sq.ft of space with 12,000 sq.ft dedicated to production. This more than doubles the size of its original facility, and triples its office space.
“The completion and operation of the new headquarters represent an important milestone for our continued growth,” said Yung-Chung Kao, president and CEO. “Since the company was founded in 1999, IntelliEPI has enjoyed a steady growth in its business annually. As a result of the growth, we simply ran out of space in our old facility. With the operation of the new headquarters, we will have enough space for more MBE systems and more large area testing and post growth testing equipment. In addition, we are able to dedicate small systems for R&D and more staff for customer services to better serve our customers. We believe this new facility will allow us to grow for many years to come.”
