Filtronic and Powerwave form strategic alliance
The current agreement combines Powerwave’s RF power amplifiers used in cellular, PCS and 3G base stations with Filtronic’s RF conditioning products. Powerwave’s products include base station PA modules and module racks covering all major air interfaces in the 800 to 2170 MHz range. Both companies will also consider including Filtronic s GaAs-based PA gain module in joint products and selected future Powerwave products.
