Finisar To Grab 10 Gbit/s Transceiver Sector
Finisar is going to be the number one producer of next-generation small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules in the 10 Gbit/s ethernet market.
That s according to Andrew Schmitt of Boston-based Nyquist Capital, an investor in Finisar.
“Finisar supplies the majority of SFP modules in the world and is well placed to take advantage of the move to SFP+," Schmitt told compoundsemiconductor.net.
