New RFoG Amplifier Offers Breakthrough Sensitivity
TriQuint / TriAccess Announce New TAT7457 with Breakthrough Sensitivity for RFoG / Cable Applications
TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. has announced a breakthrough new RFoG amplifier for optical receivers as part of the company’s new TriAccess line. The announcement was made in conjunction with the SCTE Cable Tec Expo in Denver, CO (USA) October 28-30, 2009. The new amplifier performs with less than half the equivalent input noise (EIN) of current solutions. “We believe TAT7457 will meet a critical need by enabling manufacturers to significantly extend the RFoG system link budget,” said Brian Bauer, TriQuint Product Marketing Manager for Cable and FTTH devices.
