Amplifiers increase VPEC Q1 2010 revenue to $12.35million
90% of revenues thanks to Triquint and Win Semiconductor GaAs wafer orders say Digitimes
Visual Photomics Epitaxy Company (VPEC) reported revenue of NT$390 million (US$12.35 million) for Q1 2010 with NT$0.69 Earnings Per Share, report Digitimes.
Revenue this quarter increased by over 78% from Q1 2009. Strong orders from the power amplifier segment were attributed to the strong results.
VPEC is set to increase its MOCVD reactors by ten in 2010 to ramp up capacity in anticipation for stronger demand in the near future, as the order visibility has already reached early July.
