Inphi welcomes Peter J. Simone to Board of Directors
Simone is currently on the Board of Directors of a number of firms including Veeco and Newport Corporation.
Inphi Corporation, a fabless provider of high-speed analog semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets announced that Peter J. Simone has joined its Board of Directors.
Simone serves on the Boards of Directors for several companies including Veeco Instruments, Cymer, Monotype Imaging Holdings and Newport Corporation. He is also a Board member of several private technology companies including the Massachusetts High Technology Council.
A seasoned executive with experience in high-tech companies with operations in the United States, Europe and Asia, Simone was the Executive Chairman of SpeedFam-IPEC, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer.
He was also President and Director of Active Control Experts, a manufacturer and distributor of solid-state actuators, and he served as President and CEO of Xionics Document Technologies, a provider of embedded software solutions for printer and copier manufacturers, until Xionics merged with Oak Technology.
Simone holds a BS from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson College. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst & Young).
