WiSpry Welcomes Brian Hurst as VP of Worldwide Sales

The new appointment has previously served as Vice President at Anadigics and Peregrine Semiconductor.

 WiSpry, a provider of tunable radio frequency (RF) semiconductor products for the wireless industry, has announced that Brian Hurst has been named vice president of worldwide sales. Hurst brings over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry where he has established worldwide relationships in the handset, antenna, analog and digital RF device industries.

"Brian has an established, well-deserved reputation as a wireless semiconductor industry leader. He has proven expertise in developing key relationships and channels within the top-tier cellular handset eco-system," said Jeff Hilbert, president and founder of WiSpry. "Brian is an outstanding addition to our executive management team as we continue to rapidly expand our customer design-in base and we prepare for high volume production."

Before joining WiSpry, Hurst served as VP of worldwide sales and marketing for Peregrine Semiconductor, where he established a worldwide sales organization, building a customer support infrastructure in Korea and Taiwan. He also served as vice president of worldwide sales for Anadigics where he led global relationships with strategic Tier 1 customers.

Hurst's professional experience includes numerous management and executive positions in worldwide sales, strategic business development and marketing in wireless semiconductors.
