Former Intel Executive to Lead Clean-Tech Semiconductor Company
Soraa Hires Eric Kim as New President, CEO
Soraa Inc., a clean-tech semiconductor company and parent company of Kaai Inc, have announced that Eric Kim would become President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Kim brings extensive experience in branding, marketing, and product development to the new company. Prior to joining Soraa, Mr. Kim served as Intel's Chief Marketing Officer and head of global Sales and Marketing group. More recently, he served as senior vice president and general manager of the Digital Home Group. Under his leadership, Intel recently announced an agreement to include Intel Atom processors inside Sony televisions and Blu-ray players as well as various set-top designs from Logitech and other manufacturers. Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Kim was executive vice president at Samsung, in charge of global marketing and business development in the digital convergence area. During his tenure there, Samsung became one of the world's fastest growing brands.
Mr. Kim will officially join Soraa on July 6th, 2010 and will work out of Soraa’s new corporate headquarters in Fremont, CA.
