RFMD to Present at 2011 Mobile World Congress
The firm will showcase its products and technologies at the conference taking place in Barcelona, Spain from February 14 to February 17, 2011.
RF Micro Devices, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance radio frequency components and compound semiconductor technologies, will present its portfolio of radio frequency (RF) components for the global mobile device market at the 2011 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
The RF components to be highlighted by RFMD at MWC 2011 will span the Company's broad portfolio of power amplifier-based and switch-based products for GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WEDGE, WCDMA, LTE, WiFi, and WiMAX devices.
RFMD will feature its recently launched PowerSmart power platforms, which leverage the Company's proprietary RF Configurable Power Core and deliver multi-mode coverage of all cellular communications modulation schemes (2G/3G/4G, up to LTE 64QAM).
The Company will also display a new product family of single-mode 3G power amplifiers that deliver breakthrough current consumption, as well as a new 3G power platform for the mass market smartphone segment and a selection of switch-based products optimized for the high-band count and complex harmonic requirements of 4G LTE smartphones and tablets.
RFMD will also showcase its 3G/4G wireless infrastructure product portfolio and its expanding family of high-performance RF components for microwave point-to-point radios.
