Ricoh to demo new VCSEL assisted printing systems
Now shipping worldwide, the firm’s latest products deliver high productivity under demanding conditions and will be showcased at GRAPH EXPO 2011.
Ricoh Americas Corporation, a provider of digital office equipment and advanced document management solutions and services, has announced the general availability of its new Ricoh Pro C651EX/C751EX/C751 colour production printing systems that offers new levels of productivity and capabilities.
These systems offer a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi through the innovative VCSEL imaging technology that delivers outstanding detail rendering and colour fidelity, as well as support for a wide range of substrates.
Ricoh will demonstrate the new system at GRAPH EXPO 2011, the largest graphic communications exhibition and educational conference, in Booth 2600. The exhibition runs between September 11 and 14 in McCormick Place South, Chicago.
Ricoh introduced the Pro C651EX/C751EX/C751 system in June and has already been shipping units around the world. The system is ideal for in-plant print centres, franchise print service providers and commercial printers seeking a single economical system that makes no compromise on productivity or quality.
"This new system is perfectly suited for customers taking their first step into digital printing, as well as for customers with offset printing capabilities looking to augment their service offering," said Tim Vellek, vice president, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "Further, a key customer priority is to maximise system uptime, and with Ricoh's TCRU (Trained Customer Replaceable Units) concept, customers maintain inventory of key service components, which they are empowered to replace without the support of a service technician. The result is our customers return to full productivity without waiting for service, and eliminate additional down time."
Customers can choose from three heavy-duty configurations for fast, high-volume colour output. The Pro C651EX/C751EX delivers output speeds of up to 65/75 ppm respectively and includes printing, scanning and copying functionality. The C751 focuses on printing functionality with output speeds of up to 75 ppm.
The Pro C651EX/C751EX features Ricoh's TCRU Kits, a new liquid-cooled developer system supporting heavy use, and exceptional image quality without compromising productivity. The Pro C651EX/C751EX/C751 can also be configured with a wide range of inline finishing options that produce finished documents ready for distribution out of the tray.
