Avantes to expand and innovate
The new engineering plant in Holland will support new research and development projects in spectroscopy.
Avantes has moved to a new state of the art 2700 square metre facility in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands
The new sustainable facility, which is completely energy efficient, will provide expanded production capacity which should shorten lead time to its customers. The engineering plant will also support new research and development projects.
In the last year, Avantes released nine new spectrometers and the company says it has great plans for the coming year for many new instruments and improvements to its existing lines.
Avantes develops and manufactures products in the field of spectroscopy, such as spectrometers, light sources, software, fibre optic cables and probes, accessories and fibre optic sensor systems. The company has 15 years experience in making spectrometers.
