Major players to present at LEDs 2011 conference
The three day 12th annual conference will bring hundreds to San Diego between October 24 and 26 and companies presenting will include Cree, Osram and Lumileds.
Featuring a sold-out exhibit hall and a full agenda comprised of the industry’s key professionals, “LEDs 2011: Bringing Lighting to Life” is on track to be autumn’s leading lighting and LED event.
Hundreds of lighting professionals will gather at the 12th instalment of IntertechPira’s LEDs conference and exhibition to hear from Acuity, Cree, Osram, Philips and more. This year’s event will be held at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa from October 24-26, 2011 in San Diego, California, US.
LEDs 2011 will provide three full days of coverage of the latest technology, applications, end uses, luminaire and fixture design, and market expectations and analysis most relevant to the LEDs and lighting sectors.
“To address more of the key issues facing the lighting industry, we have added additional speakers including a discussion on ‘Advanced Optical Packaging for High-Efficient Surface Illumination’ led by Eran Fine, Co-CEO & President, Oree and an examination of ‘Intelligent Lighting Systems’ by Brian Chemel, CTO, Digital Lumens,” said Patricia Kinzer, Head of US Events for IntertechPira.

This year's program will focus on the quality of light, reliability of LEDs in systems and its adoption in general lighting. Topics that will be covered at this year's conference include designing for reliability; prospects for LEDs in emerging markets, including Brazil; and future directions for research and development.
