RIBER announce sale of a MBE research system in China.
The system, a Compact 21, will be installed in the new clean room suite of South Western University located in Sichuan Province.
The compound semiconductor group will utilise what will be their first MBE installation to explore the fundamental properties of superlattice structures made from extremely thin layers of III-V materials deposited on the sub – nanometre scale of precision.
The system was selected not just on its credentials in terms of the scientific achievements of Riber C 21 customers worldwide but also on ease of use, ergonomic design features and reliability.
Dr. Chen of SW University also commented on the importance of a Riber China entity equipped with expertise to support the installation as and when required.
“This new order further consolidates Riber’s leading position in one of the most exciting markets in compound semiconductor technology today.”
