Epistar’s Schang-Jing Hon announced as guest speaker at CS International Conference, Frankfurt
CS International are pleased to announce Dr Schang-Jing Hon, Associate Vice President, EpiStar Corporation has been confirmed as a guest speaker for the Compound Semiconductor industry's premier international event, CS International, which will held in Frankfurt, Germany on 4th & 5th March 2013. His presentation will focus on High-Voltage LED for general lighting application.
Schang-Jing has served as Associate Vice President of the GaN R&D group at Epistar Corporation since 2007, he previously served in different positions in LED industrial. In 2000, he went to Massachusetts to serve as a scientist at Kopin Corporation; his major contribution was to develop the MOCVD technology for GaN LED at Kopin. Then he has returned to Taiwan in 2002, and founded Supernova Corporation.
He has served as president at Supernova until 2004. and joined Epitech Corporation in 2006, then after merging between Epistar, Epitech and Highlink Corporations.
Schang-Jing received a Diploma Degree and Doctor Dissertation in Physics from Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule Aachen, Germany.
Mr Hon will join the two day event with speakers coming from a wide range of organisations including leaders from Intel Corporation,Aixtron, RF Micro Devices (RFMD), TriQuint Semiconductor and over 25 other leading chipmakers giving their perspective on the latest developments in device technology.
Professionals from around the world will attend this two day event to hear key insights and opportunities, from a range of leading analysts, and learn of the latest chip developments in LEDs, solar cells, lasers and power and RF electronics.
