Plansee receives Eaton best supplier award

The China branch has been awarded for its outstanding services in supplying heavy metal products
On September 7th 2012, Eaton singled out just eight companies from more than 2500 suppliers to receive its "Best Supplier Award". Among them was Plansee China Ltd.

Eaton is a manufacturer of electrical components and systems and since 2004, has been using Plansee's copper-chromium contacts in its vacuum circuit breakers.

Plansee makes dense metals that can shield against gamma radiation. In its collimator, which is manufactured from DENSIMET (tungsten-nickel-iron), radiation is guided to a tiny focal point. This permits exceptional precision, for example during radiotherapy in the vicinity of the optic nerve. The company says every year, 50 000 patients benefit from this extremely benign form of treatment which helps them to a speedier recovery.

Plansee stresses its switch contacts have outstanding product properties and that what really makes the difference is the "superb" service that comes with the "made by Plansee" promise.

Recently, Plansee fully aligned the production of its switch contact with Eaton's manufacturing requirements. As a result, the company can supply switch contacts whenever Eaton needs them.

Plansee says it is also able to offer its products at attractive prices and in collaboration with Eaton, is striving to improve its switch contacts and developing new technologies.
