The semiconductor expert will once again chair the premier conference for the compound semiconductor industry
IQE's CEO and President, Drew Nelson, will again chair the premier Compound Semiconductor conference on 4th and 5th March 2013 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Dr. Andrew Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer, IQE
Now in its third year, the conference attracts senior strategic players in the compound semiconductor industry from across the world.
Dr. Nelson, who has chaired the conference since the inaugural event in 2011, will introduce a number of key speakers including analysts Asif Anwar of Strategy Analytics, Pars Mukish and Philippe Roussel of Yole and Daniel Cline of Lux Research.
Dr. Wilman Tsai of Intel is the keynote speaker for the event. He will address the integration of III-V and CMOS based devices for high performance and low power consumption in mobile applications.
Dr. Nelson, President and CEO of IQE Group, says, "It is a great honour to once again be invited to chair the third gathering of distinguished, strategic thinkers in the field of compound semiconductors. I am very much looking forward to attending this prestigious gathering, and would like to thank the organisers, sponsors, speakers and delegates for their continued support. I am confident all participants will find it a highly informative and worthwhile conference and I look forward to welcoming you."
CS International is taking place at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel on 4th and 5th March 2013.
Only last week, Nelson was appointed as representative of Photonics in the European Commission KET High Level Group. The group aims to foster the industrial deployment of European Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) in order to keep pace with main international competitors, restore growth, create jobs and help address today's major societal challenges.
