Huawei awards JDSU as a core partner
JDSU has won the award thanks to its close collaboration with Huawei on the development of next generation networks
Huawei, a major telecom solutions providers, honoured JDSU with its 2013 'Excellent Core Partner Award' for the third time in the past four years at its recent core partner convention held in Shenzhen, China.
JDSU received the award for its innovative network technology, focus on high quality, consistent on-time delivery and strategic partnership with Huawei.
JDSU provides a wide range of solutions to Huawei that include optical components, modules and transmission/transport products for the development of next generation networks that support more flexible network management and higher data rates of 100G and beyond.
The award is the highest honour given by Huawei to any of its base of approximately one thousand suppliers.
“We are honoured to receive the Excellent Core Partner Award for a third time from Huawei,” said Alan Lowe, president of Communications and Commercial Optical Products at JDSU. “Our partnership has evolved over the years into a very strategic collaboration that is helping to advance Huawei’s next generation network designs.”
JDSU has offices throughout China that are located in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Suzhou.
In 2010 and 2012, JDSU also received the Excellent Core Partner Award from Huawei for its service, solutions and close collaboration.
