EpiGaN takes on Claus Geisler to chair its board
With the appointment, the provider of III-nitride epitaxial material products hopes to accelerate the industrialisation of gallium nitride technology in the near future
Belgium based EpiGaN, has taken on Claus Geisler as Chairman of the Board of Directors which became effective March 1st, 2014.
Geisler brings extensive expertise in the semiconductor industry, executive management and the investment community to EpiGaN.

Geisler has more than forty years of experience in the semiconductor industry. After several management positions in the semiconductor industry, he worked the last eighteen years at Siemens/Infineon in Munich. At Siemens/Infineon, most of his time was dedicated to the power semiconductor business.
Geisler retired as a Sr. Vice President at Infineon and as a board member of the automotive division.
He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld.
