IR to present latest power management solutions at PCIM Europe

The firm will concentrate on a number of topics including the advantages of GaN and Sic over silicon

International Rectifier (IR) will showcase its latest power management solutions at PCIM (Power Conversion Intelligent Motion) Europe 2014 which will be held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, Nuremberg, Germany, taking place from May 20th to 22nd, 2014.

IR engineering and technical sales staff will demonstrate IR’s latest energy-saving and high power density enabling technologies and products at the IR booth, Hall 9, Stand 413.

The IR booth will feature the company’s latest power management solutions including next-generation power modules for industrial and appliance applications. Demonstrations of IR’s GaN-based platform, GaNpowIR will also be on display, in addition to IR’s benchmark MOSFETs and high-voltage ICs for a wide range of applications including automotive, motor control and lighting. IR will also showcase a new digital solution that leverages the PMBus interface to simplify control and telemetry for high performance multiphase DC-DC converters.
