Hittite acquires assets of Keragis
The firm will use Keragis' GaN and GaAs technology for power amplifiers
Hittite Microwave Corporation has acquired the assets of Keragis Corporation, a provider of high power, wideband amplifier modules, located in San Diego, California.
This acquisition expands Hittite's power amplifier portfolio and capabilities and the union combines Hittite's capabilities of design and manufacture of high performance integrated circuits (IC's), modules and subsystems with Keragis' patented wideband high power amplifier module products.
Keragis' power amplifiers utilise both GaAs and GaN semiconductor technologies.
Hittite will initially offer ten military grade and rugged commercial amplifier products featuring broadband ultra high power, compact size and high efficiency.
