Advantech releases Ku-Band GaN up converters

Devices meet stringent airborne standards

Advantech Wireless, a Canadian manufacturer of satellite, RF equipment and microwave systems has released the new 100W 2500-G series 100W Ku-Band GaN-based Airborne Grade solid state power block up converters designed to meet stringent commercial airborne specifications.

The new devices provide high linearity and high energy efficiency, according to the company. The units are ARINC 791 compliant and are ideal for airborne SATCOM applications.

The design of the 2500-G series is based on Advantech Wireless's industry proven reliable solid-state high power amplifiers. The up converters are weatherproof and ready for high order modulation schemes.
