Fifth CS International conference: the strongest ever
More than 30 leaders in the compound semiconductor industry to present during the two day meeting
On Tuesday 10 March delegates will start to arrive in Frankfurt for CS International 2015. This fifth conference in the series will be the strongest ever, thanks to the impressive line-up of invited speakers.
More than 30 leaders within the compound semiconductor industry will deliver presentations during the two-day meeting at Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Centre on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th March.
Presentations are grouped into six themes "“ solid-state lighting, optoelectronics, III-V CMOS, front-end mobiles, power electronics and RF electronics "“ with each session kicking off with a plenary presentation, followed by a talk given by a leading market analyst in this field.
Highlights of the agenda include: talks given by Skyworks and Peregrine on the future of the front-end in mobiles; a presentation by DARPA on the heterogeneous integration of III-Vs and CMOS; a talk by Sandia National Labs on the opportunities for lasers in solid-state lighting; and a presentation by Soitec on record-breaking performance in CPV systems.

On the Wednesday evening following the first day of talks, winners will be announced for the CS Industry Awards 2015. Trophies will be given to the companies securing the most votes in the following five categories: Substrates and Materials; Device Design and Packaging; R&D Chip Development; Innovation; and Metrology, Test and Measurement.
