Raytheon qualifies IQE North Carolina
Site qualified for the manufacture of epi wafers for use in advanced infrared sensing and imaging
Compound semiconductor wafer company IQE plc has announced that Raytheon has qualified IQE’s North Carolina site for the manufacture of epitaxial wafers for use in advanced infrared sensing and imaging.
Building upon a 15-year partnership, both parties will continue to collaborate closely on the research and development of infrared sensors, further developing capabilities for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance applications.
