Filtronic wins contract from QinetiQ
Contract covers design and supply of full RF chain sub-system for new radar system
Filtronic, a UK-based expert in RF technology for aerospace and defence, has been selected by defence and security company QinetiQ to design and supply the full RF chain sub-system for a new radar system for land, sea, and air applications.
The contract involves the design, manufacture, and test of various sub-systems, which are line-replaceable units. These include specialised filters and transmit and receive modules applied across the RF spectrum.
