VueReal to unveil microLED innovations at Display Week

News

Company to show 'game-changing' platform for transferring microLEDs from wafer to backplane

At Display Week 2024 (May 12-16 in San Jose), VueReal will show its MicroSolid Printing platform and demonstrate its versatility in driving mass adoption of microLED displays and other micro-semiconductor devices across a range of applications including smartphone displays and AR/VR solutions.

The company describes its MicroSolid Printing platform as a 'game-changer' because it tackles the need for efficient transfer of LEDs from wafer to backplane. Unlike conventional methods such as laser and pick-and-place, VueReal says its patented process can transfer millions of micrometer-sized LEDs with efficiency, scalability, and high yield, setting a new standard in the industry.

Using its proprietary LED transfer technology, VueReal is introducing an optimised flip-chip microLED for displays that eliminates post-processing complexities and capital expenditure while delivering vibrant, power-efficient displays for smartwatches.

VueReal also has a microLED TV solution based on its MicroSolid Printing platform that it says challenges conventional display technologies like LCD and OLED.

Secure Your Hydrogen Supply

A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.

Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.

Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
