Marktech announces new MWIR LEDS

Marktech has announced its next-generation of MWIR LED devices. These are available with peak wavelengths of 3100nm, 3700nm, 3900nm, 4100nm, and 4300nm, making them suitable for applications in environmental monitoring, process control, emissions analysis, and industrial safety..
According to the company, the LEDs enable precise detection of molecular absorption lines for a wide range of gases and chemical compounds.
What sets this new line apart is its robust hermetic packaging, which ensures long-term performance and reliability—even under harsh operating conditions. The TO-can housing protects the sensitive emitter chip from moisture, dust, and corrosive agents commonly encountered in chemical plants, oil & gas refineries, and power generation facilities.
“Reliable optical components are essential when safety and accuracy are critical,” said Gary Kardys, global business development manager at Marktech. “Our hermetically packaged MWIR LEDs are designed with industrial-grade resilience to deliver consistent performance in mission-critical sensing applications.”
Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
