EPC webinar on GaN for motor drives
This summer EPC will be hosting a series of webinars focused on design techniques for GaN in real-world applications.
The first installment is scheduled for July 10th at 10:00 am (Pacific) on the topic 'Leveraging GaN FETs and ICs in 48V Motor Drives'.
The webinar will discuss advances in GaN technology and its application in 48V motor drives, and also why GaN is the game-changer for enhancing motor drive systems.
Additionally, EPC will show reference designs tailored for various key applications such as high-end eBikes, eScooters, cobots & robots, medical robotics, and drones.
The speaker is Federico Unnia, a senior application engineer at EPC’s Motor Drive Design Centre, which he joined in 2022. He received his BS in 2018 and MS in 2021 in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. He did his master's thesis in power electronics in collaboration with the Power Electronics Laboratory at University of California Irvine.
Before joining EPC Federico worked as a Test Engineer in SPEA, an ATE company, focusing on power test applications.
