Filtronic appoints new director of product engineering

Laurence Scullion bring expertise in hybrid electronics, semiconductors, scaling manufacturing and innovative product development

MmmWave technology provider, Filtronic, has appointed Laurence Scullion as its new director of product engineering, responsible for process and product engineering.

Laurence brings expertise in hybrid electronics, semiconductors, scaling manufacturing and innovative product development to the Filtronic team.

Before joining Filtronic, Laurence served as the back-end senior director at Pragmatic, a leader in ultra-low-cost flexible electronics. There, he played a pivotal role in developing and delivering cutting-edge flexible integrated circuits (FlexICs) for a diverse range of customer applications.

"Filtronic's commitment to pushing the boundaries of high-frequency communication technology aligns perfectly with my passion for innovation," said Laurence Scullion. "I'm eager to collaborate with this talented team to develop advanced engineering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our global customers. The past 12 months have involved significant development for Filtronic, including partnerships with Leonardo, a global pioneer in defence and aerospace, and SpaceX, alongside the appointment of a new CEO.
