Celeritek Announces New Design Center

Santa Clara, CA. Celeritek, Inc. (Nasdaq: CLTK), a manufacturer of GaAs RF ICs and subsystems for the wireless communications market, today announced the opening of a new design center in Lincoln, England. The design center will house offices and lab facilities for use in the design and development of subsystem products. The senior level engineers at this facility will design transceivers for millimeter wave radio applications. "This new facility confirms our commitment to maintaining the level of design talent necessary to meet our customers growing requirements," commented Tamer Husseini president and chief executive officer. "We find it most effective to locate in areas where we are able to recruit engineering professionals with extensive microwave experience," he continued. The company has also recruited additional engineers for its design center in Belfast, which was opened in April 1998. The focus of the Belfast engineering center is the design of GaAs RF ICs for handset and microwave and millimeter wave applications.

Celeritek designs and manufactures GaAs RF ICs and microwave and millimeter wave terrestrial wireless subsystems for the point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio and satellite communications markets. The company s products are used worldwide by leading manufacturers of wireless communications systems and handsets.

Secure Your Hydrogen Supply

A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.

Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.

Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
