M/A-COM ANNOUNCES 2 NEW GaAs SPDT SWITCHES
Both Switches Feature Positive or Negative Control Voltage, Very Small Packages
Lowell, MA. M/A-COM, a leading global provider of wireless radio frequency (RF) microwave and millimeter wave components, today announced the availability of two new SPDT switches. These switches are available in low-cost, very small SOT plastic packages and cover the DC - 3.0 GHz range.
The SW-437 MMIC SPDT reflective switch is available in the ultra miniature SOT-363 package. The SW-442 SPDT terminated switch is available in the SOT-26 package. Both switches are ideally suited for applications requiring low insertion loss, good isolation, and small package size. These switches are particularly well suited for use in portable, dual band phones where switching between small signal components is required.
"The SW-442 is unique in the market in that it comes in the smallest package available for an SPDT terminated switch," says Tom Galluccio, Product Manager, M/A-COM. "The ultra-small SW-437 switch will minimize board space for all switching applications."
The SW-437 and SW-442 switches can also be used for general purpose switching in applications up to 0.25 Watts. Key attributes of the SW-437 and SW-442 include positive or negative control voltages (2.5 to 8V), good device to device consistency and low insertion loss for CDMA, TDMA, GSM and W-CDMA applications.
The new SW-437 and SW-442 are immediately available through M/A-COM s direct sales channel in the US, as well as its international sales channel.

Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
