M/A-COM Announces a New GaAs SPDT Switch
Features High Isolation, Positive Control Voltage and Small MSOP Package
Lowell, MA. M/A-COM, a leading global provider of wireless radio frequency (RF) microwave and millimeter wave components, today announced the availability of a new SPDT switch, the SW-439. This switch is available in a low-cost, very small MSOP plastic package and covers the DC - 3.0 GHz range.
The SW-439 MMIC SPDT reflective switch is available in the MSOP-10 package. This switch is ideally suited for applications requiring low insertion loss and high isolation. The SW-439 is particularly well suited for use in base station synthesizers and local oscillators that require high isolation. The SW-439 switches can also be used for general purpose switching in applications up to 0.25 Watts. Key attributes of the SW-439 include positive control voltage, good device-to-device consistency and low insertion loss for base station and general-purpose applications.
"M/A-COM has seen significant demand increase in the marketplace for switches offering higher isolation," said Jack Redus, Product Manager, M/A-COM. "The SW-439 meets the requirement for high isolation needed for synthesizer and local oscillator switching in base stations. M/A-COM can now offer a solution to meet the very high isolation requirements for GSM base station applications. We can offer the SW-439 with two of our existing SW-393 SPST switches for a total solution. "
Pricing and Availability
M/A-COM s new SW-439 can be purchased for as low as $1.90 each in quantities of 10,000 and is immediately available through M/A-COM s direct sales channel in the U.S., as well as its international sales channel.
