Teledyne Technologies and Adaptive Broadband Sign Multiyear Agreement
Los Angeles, CA. Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) and Adaptive Broadband(TM) (Nasdaq:ADAP) have signed a multiyear agreement for up to 500,000 GaAs MMIC power amplifiers for the AB-Access(TM) U-NII band radio. This agreement is an extension of the commitment that was announced in February 2000.
"We are pleased that Adaptive Broadband(TM) has awarded us this agreement," said David A. Zavadil, vice president and general manager of Teledyne Wireless. "This is a significant commitment and we look forward to supporting Adaptive Broadband(TM), a premier supplier of broadband wireless access radios, for many years to come."
AB-Access technology spans the frequency range from 2 to 42 GHz. The first releases for AB-Access are for applications using the 5 GHz U-NII (Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure) and 2.5 GHz MMDS (Multi-channel, Multipoint Distribution Service) frequency bands. Adaptive Broadband recently announced a 27.5-31.3 GHz LMDS (Local Multipoint Distribution Service) version of AB-Access and a 3.5 GHz version for the European market.
Teledyne Wireless (www.teledynewireless.com) located in Mountain View, Calif., develops and supplies GaAs MMIC power amplifiers and assemblies for broadband wireless microwave applications, RF filter products for fixed access applications, and electromechanical switches for communications, space, and defense applications. Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
