"OXFORD INSTRUMENTS PLASMA TECHNOLOGY #1 IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY 2000"
OXFORD INSTRUMENTS PLASMA TECHNOLOGY WAS VOTED #1 IN ITS CLASS IN THE RECENT VLSI RESEARCH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY FOR 2000.
Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology (OIPT), a leading supplier of plasma and ion beam processing equipment to the semiconductor industry was awarded first place for customer satisfaction in the recent VLSI Research Customer Satisfaction Survey 2000 for companies with turnover <$300M. As well as being the overall winner in its category, OIPT was also voted #1 in individual categories for Process Support, Product Performance and Technical Leadership, with customer feedback comments such as "works well with a variety of processes", "quick response, good support" and "excellent uniformity", confirming OIPT AS the #1 provider of customer satisfaction in its class.
In order to meet and exceed the excellent levels of customer satisfaction demanded by the semiconductor industry, Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology carried out a number of in-house continuous improvement programmes during 1999/2000, resulting in: - improved after sales support through creating a dedicated Customer Service Group, - higher quality products at reduced lead times through increasing manufacturing efficiency and capability and - reduced turnaround and excellent characterisation of customer samples through construction of a new 900 sq. ft. applications laboratory.
Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is based in Yatton, Bristol UK. For further details on this press release or any other OIPT news, please contact:

Secure Your Hydrogen Supply
A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.
Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
