RIBER is pleased to announce that it has received multiple orders for MBE 6000 and MBE 7000 Series epi systems from captive and merchant suppliers of epiwafers to the telecom and wireless device industries. These sales bring to nineteen the total number of multi-6" machines ordered to-date, and position RIBER as the supplier-of-choice for the compound semiconductor industry. With 4 x 6" and 7 x 6" per run capabilities, the RIBER MBE 6000 and MBE 7000 systems have been designed for mass production of GaAs-based RF device epiwafers. Their capability of fully automated performance allows for 24 hour a day, 7-day a week operation, thus providing the world s lowest per-wafer cost of production. The MBE 6000 system is fully qualified by the industry and now in routine use.
