GELcore Introduces Blue and Green LED Products

Valley View, OH. GELcore recently announced the introduction of its new high efficiency Blue, Green, and Blue-Green high brightness light emitting diodes (HB LEDs). With these additions, GELcore now offers discrete HB LED products across the broad visible spectrum. Applications for the new InGaN (Indium Gallium Nitride) HB LEDs include variable messaging, traffic signals, exit signage, and specialty applications.
"This introduction is the first of several InGaN product families by GELcore at dominant wavelengths of 470, 505 and 525 nanometers. These high brightness through hole LEDs are robust in manufacturing assembly processes and are rated ESD Class II," stated Bob Karlicek, Manager of LED Materials Engineering.
