Aixtron establishes new company AIXTRON KK in Japan

Aachen, Germany and Tokyo, Japan. AIXTRON is happy to announce the opening of AIXTRON KK Japan in Tokyo. Together with its partner Moritani, AIXTRON KK will offer to its broad base of Japanese customers an even more comprehensive service, local spare parts supply and process support for the AIXTRON product group including the Thomas Swan and Epigress MOCVD systems. AIXTRON KK will be headed by Dr. Frank Schulte and Mr. Masayuki Satoh, together having more than 20 years combined working experience in the Japanese MOCVD community. Future sales of AIXTRON MOCVD Systems will continue to be handled by Moritani with the technical support of AIXTRON KK.

Dr. Holger Juergensen, President of the AIXTRON group comments: "The establishment of this new sales and service center is part of AIXTRON s strategy to continually expand its Network of AIXcellence, offering customers a fast, reliable and high quality local service, essential for continuing the company s revenue growth in Japan. In total, the company has recently invested over US$ 1 million to increase stock to its present level".
