MCM modulator from Alpha aids integration (New Devices)
Haverhill, MA. Alpha has launched an eight-chip vector modulator multi-chip module (MCM) for integration into base stations and 2.5 G data transmission systems. The modulator allows 360 of phase control and a large linear amplitude adjustment range. Mixed technologies can be integrated to cover the AMPS through the W-CDMA range with less than 15 dB insertion loss, and IP3 intercepts of +22 dB with switching speeds of less than 10 ns (see ). www.alphaind.com
