NEC's GaAs switch aids down-conversion (New Devices)
Santa Clara, CA. CEL has announced a 4 2 GaAs switch for down-conversion used in DBS receiver applications. Manufactured by NEC, the UPG183GR provides four independent IF input channels that can be internally switched to one of two output channels. Operation is in the 950 to 2150 MHz range, with an insertion loss of 7 dB at 50 O for a 26.5 dB channel-to-channel isolation (see ). www.cel.com
