RF Solutions' PA targets 5.8 GHz band (New Devices)
Atlanta, GA. RF Solutions has unveiled a 5.8 GHz PA for broadband wireless access applications. Based on TriQuint s GaAs MESFET process, the RFS1003 is designed for transmit applications in the 5.15.9 GHz frequency band. With a P1dB output of 29 dBm, the device can be used as the final stage for fixed wireless applications requiring high transmit linearity. Limited samples are available now with production volumes expected around the fourth quarter. The company says future 5.8 GHz devices will include down/up-converters and LNA amplifiers/switches. www.rf-solutions.com
