RFMD ships PAs for Sendo's handsets (GaAs News)
RF Micro Devices has begun production shipments of MMIC PAs for use in Sendo s new S200 dual-band GSM (900/ 1800 MHz) mobile handset. Sendo, based in Birmingham, UK, is selling the new phones in the European and Asian markets. "Our GaAs HBT power amplifiers provide Sendo a low-cost, high-performance solution that complements their emphasis on performance at a cost-effective price point," said Joe Grzyb, director of RFMD s PA product line. "We believe that handset manufacturers such as Sendo will continue to value RFMD s technology leadership and our ability to meet production requirements at cost-competitive prices."
