Ams Osram launches next gen high brightness LEDs

News
OSCONIQ C 3030s series is tailored for demanding applications like stadium spotlights, and TV lighting

Ams Osram has announced its next generation of high-performance LEDs, the OSCONIQ C 3030 series.

Supporting drive currents of up to 3 A and a maximum power output of 9 W, these new LEDs deliver 500 lumens at 5700 K in a compact, flat package — providing high-intensity illumination with durability and performance.

The OSCONIQ C 3030 is tailored for demanding applications like stadium spotlights and high mast lighting. It is also suitable for architectural spotlights, and TV and broadcast lighting.

Ams Osram says: "The OSCONIQ C 3030’s superior colour rendering and light consistency make it the ideal choice for TV studios and broadcast applications, where precise illumination is crucial. With this LED, studios and broadcasters can achieve the highest quality lighting, ensuring that every detail on screen is captured with vivid accuracy and true-to-life colours."

The LEDs have thermal resistance of 1.2 Kelvin per Watt, dissipating heat efficiently, ensuring long-lasting reliability and up to 120,000 hours of maintenance-free operation — ideal for hard-to-reach installations such as high-mast lighting.

OSCONIQ C 3030s are available in CCTs from 2200 K to 6500 K and with CRI options of 70, 80, or 90, to ensures superior colour performance across various applications.

Secure Your Hydrogen Supply

A study supply of high-purity hydrogen is critical to semiconductor fabrication. Supply chain interruptions are challenging manufacturers, leading to production slowdowns and stoppages. On-site hydrogen generation offers a scalable alternative for new and existing fabs, freeing the operator from dependence on delivered gas.

Plant managers understand the critical role that hydrogen plays in semiconductor fabrication. That important job includes crystal growth, carrier gas, wafer annealing, and in the emerging Extreme UV Lithography (EUV) that will enable new generations of devices. As the vast need for semiconductors grows across all sectors of world economies, so does the need for high-purity hydrogen.

Take control with Nel on-site hydrogen generation.
